Wallpaper - Sandy Shore

Our Sandy Shore wallpaper brings together soft sandy tones, gentle ocean blues, and warm cream in a serene coastal landscape created by artist Courtney Prahl. The horizontal composition captures the open expanse of sea and sky with an expressive, painted character that adds visual depth without overwhelming a room. Printed as a made-to-measure mural on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it creates a calm and expansive focal point tailored to your exact wall dimensions.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an uninterrupted wall in a living room or bedroom, where the wide horizon line has ample space to unfold. Because the composition is arranged in broad, horizontal bands, it naturally emphasizes the width of a room, making it an excellent choice behind a low sofa or a bed with a simple headboard. The gentle contrast between the sandy foreground and the sky also makes it versatile for smaller spaces such as a home office, study, or entryway, where you want to introduce an airy, scenic quality without dominating the room.

Styling it

To complement the painterly coastal character of our design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture relatively clean-lined and understated:

• Pair the artwork with light or natural wood finishes, such as bleached ash or light oak, which echo the pale sand tones in the foreground.
• Introduce soft, textured textiles like natural woven linen throws or neutral cotton rugs to balance the visual smoothness of the painted sea and sky.
• Keep accent colors quiet, using matte ceramic decor or brushed neutral hardware that lets the wall mural remain the primary visual focus.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper features a balanced palette of soft cream, pale sandy beige, muted seafoam, and hazy ocean blue. To create a cohesive look, we recommend drawing from the warm cream and beige tones for adjacent painted walls or baseboards. If you prefer subtle contrast, muted slate blue or dusty coastal grey on nearby trim or upholstery will pick up the deeper tones of the water while keeping the overall atmosphere relaxed and harmonious.
