Wallpaper - Faux Sand Stucco Finish, Periwinkle

Our Faux Sand Stucco Finish, Periwinkle wallpaper brings the visual character of fine sand plaster to the wall, rendered in a soft blend of periwinkle and cornflower blue. The motif captures subtle tonal shifts, soft variations in light, and the organic irregularities of hand-applied stucco, giving flat walls an understated architectural presence. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers a tranquil backdrop that adds visual depth without overwhelming the space.

In the room

Because the plaster-like visual texture has a low-contrast, continuous feel, this design works beautifully across all four walls in a bedroom or a quiet living room. It avoids the rigidity of repeating geometric patterns, allowing larger uninterrupted walls to feel softer and more tactile. In a home office or bathroom, we also like using it behind a desk or vanity mirror as a calm feature wall where the delicate blue tones can frame the furniture cleanly.

Styling it

The mineral look of the stucco motif pairs naturally with contemporary and wabi-sabi aesthetics, where raw textures and simple silhouettes take center stage.

We would combine this wallpaper with warm, light-toned woods or matte, pale painted furniture to keep the overall atmosphere grounded and airy. Clean architectural lines in chairs or shelving allow the organic movement in the blue plaster design to stand out, while unbleached woven textiles and simple ceramics introduce subtle, grounded contrasts throughout the room.

Colour combinations

The design is built around soft periwinkle and cornflower blue tones with gentle light and shadow accents. To create a cohesive palette, we suggest pairing it with chalky whites, warm alabaster, or soft sandy beiges on adjacent walls, ceiling planes, and woodwork. If you prefer a richer setting, deep navy accents, terracotta details, or muted olive greens provide a striking, earthy balance against the cool blue base.
