Wallpaper - Mount Lawrence Grassi

Our Mount Lawrence Grassi wallpaper brings the quiet majesty of mountain wilderness into the home, captured through the photography of Jim Wiebe. Towering, snow-dusted peaks and dark evergreen pine trees stand over a calm lake that mirrors the landscape across still water. In the foreground, fern-colored grasses and earthy green foliage ground the scene, while the sky introduces soft shades of pale blue and pink. Produced as custom made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design offers an expansive, scenic focal point with balanced natural tones.

In the room

In a spacious living room or a dedicated meditation space, our wall murals work well across a broad, uninterrupted wall where the full mountain reflection can unfold across the room. Because the composition carries strong horizontal balance through the waterline and open sky, giving the design enough width allows the scale of the peaks to feel natural rather than crowded. In a vacation home or sitting area, placing this wallpaper along a main accent wall behind a low sofa keeps the foreground grasses visible while leaving the lake and mountain peaks clearly in view.

Styling it

To complement the natural photographic depth of the landscape, we suggest pairing this design with simple, unadorned furniture that lets the scenic view remain the central focus. Lighter wood furniture in clean, contemporary silhouettes balances the darker evergreen trees without introducing visual clutter. Keeping larger upholstered pieces in quiet, solid neutrals prevents competing patterns from distracting from the fine detail of the water and mountain ridges.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper centers on earthy fern greens, deep pine tones, stony mountain greys, and pale washes of blue and morning pink in the sky. To build a cohesive room around it, consider surrounding walls in soft off-white, muted moss green, or pale grey to mirror the natural tones of the landscape. For painted woodwork or larger furniture, charcoal or deeper forest hues can pick up the rich tones in the tree line and anchor the space.
