Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Ivory Ebony

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Ivory Ebony brings a rhythmic, scalloped geometry to the wall, built from stylized ginkgo leaf fans. We love how the design balances bold arching silhouettes with delicate, radiating line work inside each petal-like form. The high contrast between the deep ebony outlines and the warm ivory ground gives the pattern an elegant Art Deco character while retaining an organic feel. Printed as a made-to-measure design on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface texture, this wallpaper offers an orderly yet flowing rhythm that anchors a room without overwhelming it.

In the room

Because the fan motif repeats with clear geometric symmetry, we see this working particularly well across a feature wall in a dining room or behind a bed in a bedroom. The arched repeat draws the eye upward, giving taller walls a refined architectural structure and adding definition to compact entryways or powder rooms. In an open living space, the high contrast between ivory and dark ebony provides enough visual weight to ground the room, especially along a continuous wall where the repeating arcs can flow uninterrupted.

Styling it

The distinct graphic lines and vintage-inspired curves invite a considered approach to furniture and textures:

• Pair with dark stained woods or painted cabinetry to echo the deep ebony linework, creating a tailored and cohesive backdrop.
• Introduce warm metallic elements, such as aged brass lighting or bronze hardware, which stand out sharply against the clean ivory curves.
• Balance the geometric precision of the wallpaper by choosing upholstered pieces in soft, tactile fabrics and curved silhouettes.

Colour combinations

The design itself is grounded in two primary tones: a soft, warm ivory background and deep ebony outlines filled with fine charcoal veins. Around it, we recommend pairing the wallpaper with warm off-white trim to maintain a light and airy atmosphere, or contrasting it against deep charcoal and near-black painted doors and mouldings for a more dramatic, graphic interior. Muted accent tones like olive, warm ochre, or rich cognac leather also sit comfortably alongside the neutral black-and-ivory palette.
